Our Susie Gray Dining Hall is also available for alcohol free receptions and other events. The hall is typically arranged for a mix and mingle style reception rather than a formal sit-down dinner, with some seats at tables (roughly 60) and 30 more chairs along the walls, accommodating up to 250. If you choose to tent the adjoining patio, we can accommodate up to 300. For a seated reception, 125 guests can be accommodated. We have beautiful antique dining tables and chairs and will have a dance/mingle area in the middle of the hall. We provide ivory restaurant linen, the tables/chairs needed and the china. Our staff will set up the hall, work the event and clean up. You provide table décor, wedding cakes and music.
The Susie Gray Hall rents for $2,500 plus a $2,000 food & beverage minimum. Our receptions are three hours with one additional hour to clean up. We require the hall fee upon booking as your nonrefundable deposit. The catering balance is then split with 50% being due 90 days prior and 50% due 30 days prior.
We have other potential reception spaces available upon request. Scarritt Bennett Center offers on-site catering services. Executive chef Jennifer Threadgill and the catering services staff gladly accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and preferences.
Our catering services offers a variety of meal and snack options, including desserts, appetizers and snack breaks as well as full meal options, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
