Lodging at Scarritt Bennett Center

Once a college campus, most rooms in the center’s residence halls offer a twin bed and suite-style bathroom that shares with the adjoining room. Rooms offer basic amenities, including linens and complimentary wifi. Alarm clocks are available upon request at the front desk. Rooms start at $79/night before tax. Rooms with double or queen-sized beds, or private bathrooms, are available upon request.

Scarritt Bennett is happy to accommodate groups. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more with a single payee. For group lodging inquiries, email sales@scarrittbennett.org.

Bragg Residence Hall

Built in 1950, the Bragg Residence Hall honors Grace L. Bragg, president of the Woman’s Division of Christian Services, 1940–1948. A comfortable residence for Scarritt Bennett Center’s guests, Bragg has three floors and more than 30 guest rooms.

Cadwallader Residence Hall

Built in 1963, the residence hall was named the Charles N. Cadwallader Men’s Residence. The building has two floors and more than 50 rooms. Laundry facilities are available.

Gibson Residence Hall

Built in 1940, this residence hall was built with funds collected by alumnae throughout the world to honor Miss Maria Layng Gibson, the first principal of Scarritt Bible and Training School. The residence hall contains more than 45 guest rooms across two floors and features a beautiful central parlor on the first floor.

Each of the residence halls has a common lounge area equipped with a TV, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Coin-operated washers, dryers and an ironing board are also available on campus. Irons can be checked out at the Welcome Center in Laskey Hall. At this time we are unable to accommodate pets, but service animals are always welcome. Smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs and firearms are prohibited on campus.

Dining Services
Subject to the request of groups on campus, meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Susie Gray Dining Hall. Guests staying on campus are welcome to purchase meal tickets, subject to availability. 

Technology Area in the Welcome Center
The technology area in the Welcome Center of Laskey Hall is also available to guests. The technology center includes free wifi access, two desktop computers, a printer, a copier and a fax machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Check-In/Check-Out
Guests must check in at the Welcome Center in Laskey Hall. Parking Lot A, accessible from 18th Avenue South, is the most convenient lot to this building.

Check-in begins at 3 pm. Check-out is at 10:30 am. If you plan on arriving after midnight, please contact the welcome center staff before 5 pm CST on the day of arrival to make arrangements. For after-hours assistance upon arrival, please call campus security at (615) 480-5150.

Cancellations
Please cancel reservations by 3 pm CST at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to avoid one night’s room charge per room reserved. We are not able to issue refunds, so please note any changes in the length or dates of reservations prior to arrival.
