Join us for an uplifting musical celebration of women hymn writers in historic Wightman Chapel. The concert will feature local professional singers performing hymns written by women. It will honor Women’s History Month and the 190th birthday of Fanny Crosby, one of the most prolific hymnists in history who wrote more than 8,000 hymns despite her blindness. Segments will honor women hymn writers from the 12th century to present day including Amy Grant, Lucie Campbell, and Marilyn Thornton.
