Conference & Events Sales Manager ( Full time)
The Conference & Events Sales Manager serves as a team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Scarritt-Bennett Center conference sales. Position is responsible for assessing the needs of the staff and event clients and providing guidance to help craft detailed event plans, to ensure a successful and enjoyable experience. Position requires experience in event planning, coordination, and implementation. Focus is on sales activities (specifically recruiting new conference events) connected to event inquiries, serving as liaison between the client and facility. Position requires an understanding of event protocol, the food and beverage industry, as well as the methodology of hospitable service.
